You or a special friend can experience the exhilarating three-dimensional world of glider flying in one of the club’s two seat aircraft with one of our qualified Air Experience Flight pilots. You can sit back and just enjoy the view, take photos or even try the controls while in flight.

Learning to fly a glider is an exciting and satisfying experience. As a member of the Gliding Federation of Australia, Beverley Soaring Society provides a very comprehensive, structured, and safe program of flying training.

Explore The Fleet
The Beverley Soaring Society operates a diverse fleet of training and cross-country gliders, including two DG-1000s, an ASK-21, two Astirs, a Discus CS, and an LS4. This mix of aircraft provides members with opportunities ranging from introductory and instructional flying through to advanced soaring and competition-style cross-country flying.

Who we are
The Beverley Soaring Society (BSS) is the largest gliding club in Western Australia and also the closest to the Perth metropolitan area, being less than two hours away by car.
We have a large club fleet of three two-seat aircraft, four single-seat aircraft and two Pawnee tow planes. Our members also have around 45 privately owned gliders at our airfield.
