What we know about you
We don’t record any information that can identify you personally unless you give us this information voluntarily.
Some parts of the web site may use a cookies to keep track of where you are logged into, so that we don’t annoy you asking for a login code every time you change pages .
We use Rezdy.com to manage our flight bookings. Additional information may be required when making a booking so we can check that you meet the requirements for taking a flight and so we can contact you in case of any changes to your booking such as flight cancellations to to bad weather.
Your email address
We do not know your email address unless you give it to us.
We only record your email address if you complete one of our forms requesting this information.
In any case, we will use it only internally within the organisation or our governing body, the Gliding Federation of Australia, and will not disclose it to other organisations without your permission.
If you have given us your email address, but do not want to receive email from us in the future, please let us know.
Your Credit Card Information
We use SecurePay to process card payments for our flight bookings. All credit card information is stored securely on their PCI compliant servers. We do not have access to your credit card details after storing them, only the ability to charge your card your card again if you authorize us to or to apply refunds to your card.
How we use this information
We may this information to keep in touch with you about your interest in further flights, membership or special offers.
Who has access to your information?
We do not share your personal information with others, and we do not disclose or sell your personal information to others (apart from our governing body the Gliding Federation of Australia) for use in mailing lists or databases. If we need to provide some information to others in order to provide you with a product or service that you requested then, with your permission, we will only provide the minimum information to allow the provision of that product or service by others.
Future Variations
If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
